Artisan Crafts / Metal Work

Well here is the black bike pretty much done. We ended up switching out the rims so the front and rear matched as well as putting green LEDs in them (like the other bikes.) We ended up selling all our bikes when my brother and I moved. I miss this one the most.

that really is beautiful, would look slick with some little flat bars on it. Out of interest, how much would charge to make a frame like that? I'm in UK so can;t exactly commission one right now, but would love to know.

My brother and I both graduated college in Dec of 2007 and now real jobs so no more bike building. Plus the fact we now live over 200 miles apart doesn't help. But if you really want a price, I'd say somewhere between $400 and $500 just for the time and materials needed.

For a price like that.. that's not half bad plus you'd get the satisfaction of having a completely custom bike.

What's the black body made of though? It looks like hard plastic..

Fiberglass body on a metal frame. It's painted flat black which kinda makes it look like plastic.
